My grandmother was born Margaret (or Marguerite) MacKenzie in Seafoam in 1905. Her married name is MacPherson. She is the last surviving sibling of four. She turned 100 last November and frequently asks if I ever hear anything about the families that lived on the neighboring farms. Her father ran a lobster cannery (or pound) in Toney River. Her brother Alec lived on the original property until his death 10 or 12 years ago.
At a hundred years of age, there is little new information that is of importance to my grandmother. I do think, however, news of "back home" would cheer her greatly. I'd appreciate any news.
