I am looking for descendents of Thomas William Crossan and Elizabeth Canevan/Canavan, who were married in Scotland around 1890. They had at least 3 children, Martha Reid Crossan, born Cambusnethan, Lanark, Scotland, 1893, Iva MacKenzie, born Scotland, 1895, and John Hutcheson born Scotland June 17, 1900, and a possible fourth, J Gordon McDougall, born Briech Darrzce, Scotland, June 21, 1902. The family left Scotland for Nova Scotia sometime before 1901, as they appear on the census for Cape Breton-North Victoria Little Bras D'Or poll district, which means that unless they returned to Scotland, J Gordon is not theirs. Martha married Edward Hodgkins in Stellarton in 1920, Iva married Albert deWolf in Stellarton in 1914, and John died in New Glasgow in 1924. J Gordon died in New Glasgow in 1979. Thomas William was born in Cookstown, Tyrone in 1866, and is my great-grandfather's youngest brother. Thanks Sandra Hass (nee Crossan)
